The Career Talk of Starbucks Hong Kong received an overwhelming response at the Polytechnic University on April 23, 2018. Over 30 members of the Institute of Active Aging (http://iaa.apss.polyu.edu.hk) attended the occasion, and all of them stayed behind to learn more from the HR Department explaining the job details of a Barista. The talk ended with a lot of happy faces after 3 full hours of discussions.

Starbucks Hong Kong held a career talk on October 30, 2017 in Lai Chi Kok attracting over 100 participants followed by one-to-one interviews, resulting in 20 members of Happy-retired (www.happy-retired.com) being offered a job as Barista. They repeated their effort on the Hong Kong side on November 17, 2017 in their Chai Wan training center with over 30 people attending the event ended up with a number of them being offered a job.
