Coming from a human resources background, Stephen understands, from personal experience, the importance of teamwork, responsiveness, market intelligence and quality output. This unique history of serving from both sides of the table has provided him with not only operating tools but also the essential mindset in shaping the culture and quality of our services. Despite the growing reliance on information technology over the past decades, human resources remains one of the most critical elements of corporate strategy. In his role as a consultant and advisor with a genuine concern for putting the right people in the mission critical positions, Stephen is well placed to offer the much needed objective judgment, insight and consultative advice to our valuable clients. With over 10 years of experience in the human resources field, Stephen joined LTA & Company in 1994 and was appointed Partner of the firm 4 years before he founded Vision Partners.
Stephen graduated from the University of London in 1984 with a B.Sc. from Imperial College and a Diploma in Personnel Management from the London School of Economics. He began his career in human resources in the Area Office of Bank of America in Hong Kong covering Hong Kong, India, China and Taiwan and moved to First Pacific Bank in 1989 where he was a Vice President managing the overall HR function. Over the past 17 years of his search career, Stephen has conducted over 1,000 senior executive assignments across the Asia Pacific Region.
